If you think Freemasonry could be for you, please contact us us to arrange an informal chat. We are always happy to welcome prospective candidates, so if you are considering joining Freemasonry the members of the Lodge of St. George would be pleased to meet with you and answer any questions that you may have about us or Freemasonry in general.
We also hold regular informal Meet & Greet events several times each year to socialise and meet prospective members. For more details, please email the Lodge Secretary or contact us using the form below.
The Lodge meets twelve times a year on the fourth Friday of each month except for December when it meets on the second Tuesday. The dress code is Black Tie with white gloves. For overseas visiting brethren who find it inconvenient to travel with black tie, morning dress (with short coat) or a dark lounge suit is acceptable. The Lodge practices the Emulation Ritual of United Grand Lodge of England – or its own traditional form of it! Meetings typically tyle at 1830 (though on special occasions may occasionally tyle earlier) and are followed by formal dining (for which costs are applicable and you will be advised of these in advance).
The procedure for visiting is to email the Lodge Secretary with your request to visit together with your full name, Lodge name and number, a copy of your Grand Lodge certificate and confirmation that you are in good standing (typically a “certificate of good standing”, “dues card” or the like”). Upon the date of visit you may be required to produce originals of these documents and be proven by the Junior Warden of the Lodge.
After the meeting you will be most welcome to be a guest of the Lodge at The Masonic Club, at Freemasons’ Hall, Singapore. We look forward to welcoming you.
