THE LODGE OF ST. GEORGE NO. 1152 E.C.

White Table Night

The Lodge’s “White Table Night” is an annual black tie dinner event in December (usually the second Tuesday). A “White Table Night” is usually the name given to a formal dinner and referred to the white table linen often used – hardly an adequate description as that describes most dinners these days.  However, the dinners held after Lodge meetings are generally speaking only for Members of the Lodge and Freemasons of other lodges who have been invited.

Our White Table Night dinner, however, is where ladies, guests, friends of the Lodge and prospective candidates and their wives/ partners are all invited.  A key feature of the dinner is charity and it is one of the major fund-raising events the Lodge holds during the year, with raffles, auctions and prizes often featuring, as well as being an important social event in its own right.  It typically marks the end of the Lodge’s events for the calendar year.
